      Tami Spann, a singer with Donald Lawrence's Tri-City Singers, will conduct a music workshop at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. A $5 donation is requested to cover cost of materials.

      The Broad River Opry, featuring the Flowers Family Bluegrass Band, will be held Saturday, June 14, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Family Life Center in Shelby. The show will include traditional bluegrass, gospel and gospel bluegrass.
