Retired from Long's Jewelers
Rena Susie Love Long, 89, of 153 Lakeside Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 9, 2008, at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Edward William Long and daughter of the late Grady Love and Jane Thompson Love. Mrs. Long was retired from Long's Jewelers and was a member of Draytonville Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Kenneth Long and wife, Eileen, of Simpsonville; a daughter, Ora Jane Hensley and husband, Glenn, of Ridgeway; two sisters, Lena Stroup of Gaffney and Bert Tucker of Charlotte; two grandsons, Edward Eubanks and wife, Kim, and Charlie Eubanks; and two great-granddaughters, Rebecca Eubanks and Jillian Eubanks. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Love, Orbin Love and M. C. Long; two sisters, Marie Hunnicutt and Eulalia Love; and a grandson, Jacob Long. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 11, from 1-1:45 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev.
