Burns Chevrolet tops Trojans in battle of unbeatens

In the highlight game of the Cherokee County Youth Basketball League on Tuesday, the B&B Trojans waved good-bye to its winning streak.

Dameian Jeter scored 11 points as Burns Chevrolet stayed unbeaten with a 37-33 win over the Trojans. Burns Chevrolet is now alone atop the Division II standings. O'Brian Davidson had 15 points in a losing cause.

In other Cherokee County Youth Basketball League action on Tuesday, Deon Smith scored nine points to lead Freightliner past Daddy Joe's, 29-27; Garico Dowdle had 23 points in First Piedmont Federal's 23-9 victory over L&L Realty; and Makel Noel scored a game-high 12 points in leading Classic Cuts past the Jayhawks, 22- 12.

On Monday, Jordan Crawford scored nine points as Tymes Up edged the Bulldogs, 16-14 in a Division III matchup.

In Division II action, T.J. Horton had nine points to power Burns Chevrolet past the Blue Devils, 33- 18; O'Brian Davidson and L.J. Peake each scored 13 points to lead the B&B Trojans to a 41-36 win over the Wolfpack; and Justine Thompson scored 10 points in SageSports' 33- 14 victory over Daddy Joe's.
