Hames - McDaniel couple speak vows in April 26 ceremony
MR. AND MRS. CHANCE JUSTIN MCDANIEL Jennifer Leigh Hames of Blacksburg and Chance Justin McDaniel of Blacksburg were married Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Antioch Baptist Church in Blacksburg. The Rev. C. Vernon Craig performed the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Wayne Patterson of Earl, N.C., and granddaughter of Ruth McDermet and Sue Hames, both of Blacksburg, and the late Nevils Hames.
The groom is the son of Lorna McDaniel of Blacksburg and the late Lee Edward McDaniel. His grandparents are Iva Lee McDaniel and Ruby Lee of Blacksburg.
Escorted by her brother, the bride was attended by her cousin, Candice Hames, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kandi Hughes and Megan Sanders.
Shelbie Patterson, stepsister of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. Flower girl was Macy Hames, cousin of the bride.
The groom was attended by his brother, Matthew McDaniel, as best man. Groomsmen were Eddie DeLuna and Matthew Bourgoin.
Tyler McDaniel, nephew of the groom, was the junior groomsman. Kaden McDaniel, son of the bride and groom, was the ring bearer.
Music was provided by Brad Phillips, pianist, and Mark and Debbie McDermet, soloists.
A reception followed in the fellowship building.
After a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple will reside in Blacksburg.
