21-year-old Gaffney man accused of having sex with a minor
A 21-year-old city man was accused this week by the Gaffney Police Department of second degree criminal sexual conduct. Police served an arrest warrant Wednesday accusing Ronald Franklin Osborne Jr., of West Buford Street, with engaging in sexual activity with a minor under 16. Magnolia's Assisted Living of Gaffney is facilitating the 2008 Alzheimer's Memory Walk for Cherokee County. One of the first fundraising events was a drawing for a beautiful handmade quilt, made by one of Magnolia's employees, Frances Parris. She generously offered one of her quilts and more than $250 was raised. City approves revisions to Visitors Center project

Gaffney City Council on Monday unanimously approved a revised architect's proposal that would reduce the project cost from $1.8 million to $1.25 million.
