QUILT WINNER

Magnolia's Assisted Living of Gaffney is facilitating the 2008 Alzheimer's Memory Walk for Cherokee County. One of the first fundraising events was a drawing for a beautiful handmade quilt, made by one of Magnolia's employees, Frances Parris. She generously offered one of her quilts and more than $250 was raised. The winner was one of Magnolia's own residents, Mrs. Mary Wallace.Pictured, from left, are: Bonita Wise, executive director of Magnolia's, Wallace and Parris.
