Myrtice Price Jones Dye, 69, of 402 10th St., passed away on May 30, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Albany, Ga., she was the wife of Jerry Dye of the home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Eddie Smith and wife, Cindy; a daughter, Cathy Burns and husband, Tracy; two sisters, Blanche Anderson and Alice Moody; 10 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; two stepchildren, Sandy Atkins and husband, James, and Pam Hall and husband, Chuck; and several nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Dye was preceded in death by a son, Scott Jones.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 22, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Pleasant and Charlie Ivey officiating.

Family members are at their respective homes.
