Indians rout Tennessee powerhouse

      Gaffney boys varsity basketball coach Mark Huff was expecting a competitive game against a Volunteer State perennial power Wednesday at Wofford College. But what he got was a blowout. The Indians routed Kingsport Dobyins- Bennett High School, 93-64. Kingsport Dobyins- Bennett finished 30-5 last season in advancing to the state tournament.

      Burns Chevrolet continued its undefeated season with victories over the Lakers and Daddy Joe's this week in local summer league basketball action. T.J. Ogelsby had eight points in the team's 38-30 win over the Lakers on Monday and Kobe McDowell scored 18 in the victory over Daddy Joe's.
