Burns Chevrolet remains unbeaten

Burns Chevrolet continued its undefeated season with victories over the Lakers and Daddy Joe's this week in local summer league basketball action.

T.J. Ogelsby had eight points in the team's 38-30 win over the Lakers on Monday and Kobe McDowell scored 18 in the victory over Daddy Joe's.

Denzelle Lattimore was the leading scorer for Daddy Joe's with 12 points.

In other action on Tuesday, Marcellus Sims scored 11 points to help Freightliner beat the Blue Devils, 30-26; Malik Gaffney had 14 in SageSports' 41-24 win over the Lakers and DeEdward Burris scored 15 to lead the Heat to a 43-41 win over the Bearcats in a Division I matchup.

Dreele Jones poured in 15 points to help First Piedmont Federal to a 34-16 victory over Classic Cuts in a battle of Division III unbeatens on Monday.

In other games on Monday; Derrick Dawkins scored a game-high 18 points as L&L Realty topped the Jayhawks, 22-17; and L.J. Peake had 14 points to lead the B&B Trojans past SageSports, 42-28.
