LEDGER READERS ON THE ROAD
A group of 19 youth and adults from Grassy Pond Baptist Church was in the Dominican Republic from June 16-23. They conducted Bible schools in several sugar cane villages, visited orphanages, distributed food and supplies and participated in worship services. They are shown here in the village of Batey la Siria. CORRECTION: First all, I want to thank you for putting my children's picture in the paper, from when we were visiting in Jacksonville, Fla. The problem is, my name is Grace not Gina, would you please correct this. Thank you very much and I enjoy The Ledger every week. - Grace Baker
David Ligon, Brad Daves and Brad McDaniel are seen here enjoying reading The Gaffney Ledger while on vacation. They were in Cherokee, N.C., for the opening of trout fishing season. They were also accompanied by Nikki Mullinax, who beat all three guys in their fishing contest. On your next trip out of town, take a copy of The Ledger along and send a picture of yourself or your group reading the newspaper to: cody@gaffneyledger.com |
