Josh Mata had three hits and four RBIs and Clay McKowen had two hits and knocked in two runs to help first-place Post 109 to a 13-4 victory. More ... Stoney Baker strung together two bowling "turkeys" Sunday afternoon to capture his 20th pro bowling title in Gaffney. Baker delivered a strike in six of his final seven frames to defeat Greenville resident Lee Vanderhoef, 217-202, in the first Peach Bowl at Starmax. Several teams from Georgia and Upstate South Carolina traveled to compete with Gaffney in a camp organized by area FCA director Pierre Salmon. The membership levels include the Warrior for $200 and Chief's Council for $500.
