Cherokee County native Tom Wheeler will perform a Music Sandwiched-In concert at Cherokee County Public Library on Wednesday, July 9.

Tom Wheeler will return to the Cherokee County Public Library for an encore Music Sandwiched-In concert on Wednesday, July 9, from 12:15-1 p.m. The show will last from 12:15-1 p.m. and a free lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Library.

Pickin' and singing since he was a kid, Tom plays mainly for his own enjoyment with an occasional jig in Spartanburg. His last performance several months ago at the library was so popular that many of those attending asked for an encore.

"I am delighted beyond words that Tom is returning for another show," said Kenny Covington, director of public relations and adult programming at the library. "He is not only a very talented musician but a great storyteller and that's what sets him apart from others."

Tom is a regular performer at Sadie Mae's, a country restaurant and store on Hwy. 105.
