      The Rev. Marvin Eugene Durham, 69, of 429 Sarratt Ave., went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Blacksburg, Rev. Durham was the husband of Martha White Durham and son of the late Dever Durham and Mary Parker Durham. He was pastor of Tabernacle of Love in Chesnee for over 33 years.

Born in Shelby, Mrs. Goodson and her husband, Danny, had been married for 30 years. She was the daughter of the late John William Smith and Mandy S. Parker of Blacksburg and worked in textiles as a winder.
