FIRE BREAKS OUT AT BANK Gaffney firemen respond to a blaze Thursday evening at First Piedmont Federal Savings & Loan on South Limestone Street. Fire Chief Nathan Ellis said the fire started at a juncture of electrical wiring and was confined mostly to an overhang at the rear of the building.
