One Time upsets Indians to advance to title game Chase Smith scored 18 points to help One Time upset the favored Indians, 61-58, and advance to Monday's Cherokee County Summer Youth Basketball league's Division I touirnament championship game. Dorian Gillespie had 12 points in a losing effort. One Time will meet the 76ers, who topped the Clippers 47-34 in the other Division I semifinal game on Wednesday. Brown led the way for the 76ers with 14 points. Chase Wright had eight points for the Clippers. In the Division II semifinals, Kobe McDowell had 11 points as Burns Chevrolet topped the Blue Devils, 33-27; and Malik Gaffney scored a team-high 13 points to lead SageSports past the B&B Trojans, 42-36. Burns Chevrolet and SageSports will play for the Division II tournament title on Monday. In Division II postseason tournament first round action, Damion Jeter had 13 points as Burns Chevrolet topped the Lakers, 36-32; O'Brian Davidson scored 12 points to help the B&B Trojans beat Freightliner, 29-24; Malik Gaffney had nine points in SageSports' 30-20 victory over Daddy Joe's; and Larry Guyton scored seven points to help the Blue Devils edge the Wolfpack, 25-23. In the Division tournament opening games, Josh Corry had 27 points as the Indians eliminated the Kings, 57-43; Christian Munsterman poured in 20 as the 76ers beat the Wildcats, 73-40; Chase Wright scored 12 points in the Clippers' 34-31 win over the Bearcats; and Chase Smith had a game-high 17 points as One Time downed the Heat, 53-48.
