Mission takes flight, thanks to devoted volunteers
      Dear Editor: On Saturday, June 14, Aviation Missions held a "Free Flight" at the Union County Airport in Union. In attendance were 28 men, women and children who were there to learn about the many well-paying careers and opportunities that exist in aviation today.

Gaffney Little Theatre invites you to get on board
      Dear Friends and Supporters of the Arts: Gaffney Little Theatre is moving ahead this summer. We were forced by Mother Nature to make some major repairs to the roof of the Brown Building and that is now almost complete. A kind benefactor decided to replace the ceiling in the auditorium of the present Little Theatre and to make other needed repairs.
