Woman says she was beaten, pushed into fire by boyfriend
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a July 20 incident during which a 35-year-old Blacksburg woman allegedly was pushed into a fire during an assault by her boyfriend. Police said the woman had burns on her right arm and two black eyes at the time the report was taken. More ...
Final inspection of learning center postponed

An inspector from the state's Office of School Facilities (OSF) left the site after an hour since AT&T had not finished installing phone lines in the building.
