Fundraiser raises more than $2,700 for transplant patient

A recent fundraiser for Jerry Horne, who is awaiting a liver transplant, raised $2,774 to help pay his medical expenses. The event included a pancake breakfast at Applebee's, a bake sale sponsored by Upstate Carolina Medical Center, and a car wash. Horne and his wife have seven children and three grandchildren.
