David L. Sarratt

David Lewis Sarratt, 68, of 110 Michigan Ave., died

Wednesday morning, July 23, 2008, in Spartan- burg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cherokee County, he

was a son

of the late Darwin and Annie Studyvance Sarratt.

Surviving are a sister, Annie Jones of Providence, R.I.; five brothers, Frank Sarratt (Straucy) of Brooklyn, N.Y., James Sarratt (Marie) of Spartanburg, Willie Sarratt (Sugarmine), William Darwin Sarratt (Patricia) and Roosevelt Sarratt, all of Gaffney.

The family is at his residence and at the home of Darvin and Patricia Sarratt, 501 Granite Drive.

Services will be held Monday, July 28, at 3 p.m., at White Plains Baptist Church with the Rev. James Patton Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Gaffney Memorial Park. Body will be placed in the church Monday at 2 p.m.
