Forrest A. Littlejohn Jr.
Forrest Aaron Littlejohn Jr., 55, of 401 Sarratt St., passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at 7:22 p.m. at Elizabeth House Four Seasons Hospice in Flat Rock, N.C.
A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of Ola Wilkins Littlejohn and the late Deacon Forrest Littlejohn Sr. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, a 1971 graduate of Gaffney High School and received a certificate in auto mechanics from Cherokee County Vocational School. Mr. Littlejohn was formerly employed by Hoechst Fibers in Earl, N.C.
Also surviving are a daughter, Karen Littlejohn of Lexington, N.C.; five sisters, Doris Jean Smith, Rosemary
Littlejohn, both of Gaffney, Lorenza Carol Chambers of Shelby, Linda Lee Boyce of Spartanburg and Cleo Delores Littlejohn of Gastonia; and a host of other relatives.
Services will be held Sunday, July 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Dr. A.L. Brackett, the Rev. Alice Littlejohn, Minister Doris Smith, Minister Ronnie L. Chambers and Minister Deborah Jones officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Justin Bonner, Eddie Littlejohn, Melton Littlejohn, Anthony Davidson, J.C. Cumberlander and Robert Littlejohn.
The family is at the home of his sister, Rosemary Littlejohn, 207 Lincoln Drive.
