      It's time to have some rules for ATVs At least 555 people, including 111 children, died riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) in 2006, according to The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Injuries related to ATVs for that same year totaled 146,600, up 10,000 from the year prior.
