Help support Cherokee County 4-H

4-H is a community of young people across American who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

The South Carolina 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach, the involvement of caring adults and the knowledge and resources of Clemson

University and the land grant university system to empower youths to become healthy, productive and contributing members of society.

However, programs offered through 4-H, such as after-school program, summer day camps and clubs, would not be possible without proper funding. Now, there is a free and easy way to support 4- H in Cherokee County.

All you have to do is give the Cherokee County Clemson Extension Service your Food Lion MVP Customer Shopping Card number, all 12 numbers. After the Extension Office registers the number with Food Lion, each time you swipe your card when shopping, the Cherokee County 4-H will get one percent of the proceeds.

For more information, contact Cherokee County 4-H Agent Alana Willingham at 864-489-3141, ext. 115, or send an e-mail to awillin@ clemson.edu.
