Retired from Cincinnati Millacron

SIMPSONVILLE - Bobby Dean Hensley Sr., 75, of 210 Hipps Ave., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at his residence.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the husband of Minnie M. Bright Hensley and son of the late Reece Hensley and Ollie

Mae Harbin Hensley.

He was retired

from Cincinnati Millacron, was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of East Georgia Road Baptist Church.

Also surviving are three sons, Bobby Dean Hensley Jr. and wife, Renae, of Hickory Tavern, Bruce Tod Hensley and wife, Denise, of Simpsonville and Brett Hensley and wife, Terrien, of Fountain Inn; five grandchildren, Travis Hensley, Josh Hensley, Dalton Hensley, Dillon Hensley and Darby Hensley; a brother, Don Hensley and wife, Cathy, of Boiling Springs, N.C.; and a sister, Judy Compton and husband, Roger, of Spartanburg.

Services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, at 4 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Ellison officiating. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation was held at the funeral home from 3-4 p.m. prior to the services.
