FROM OLD SCHOOL TO NEW SCHOOL
1985 Gaffney 24, Broome 21:
Runs of 52 and 8 yards by Robert Hardy had the Indians up 14-0 early, but a sound Broome team came from behind to go ahead 21-17. The Indians fought back, and with 6:12 left in the game, reserve quarterback Wesley Tate plunged in from 1 yard out to get the win. |
