Wanda Jones Ruppe, 58, of 121 Edward Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born Gaffney, she was the wife of Jerry Ruppe and daughter of the late William (Bill) Jones and Virginia Jones. Mrs. Ruppe was formerly employed by Alcoa and Mary Bramlett School for 15 years. She attended Southside Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, surviving are a son, James Ruppe and girlfriend, Tiffany Wheeldon, of Gaffney; a daughter, Allison Goode and husband, Tommy, of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Thomas Goode and Austin Goode; and special pets, Midnight and Lil' Bit.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ruppe was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Jones.

Services will be held Monday, Aug. 18, at 4 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Guyton officiating. Interment will be Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence.
