The Cherokee County American Red Cross invites interested individuals to participate in a Client Casework Class on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. until noon.

The class will enable persons to provide all the vital disaster recovery services the the American Red Cross offers to local disaster victims. This is not the same as being an on-call member of the Disaster Action Team. Caseworkers work with clients in the Red Cross building during normal operating hours.

The class will be held at the Cherokee County Red Cross, 405 N. Logan St. Parking is available behind the building and across the street in the vacant lot.

Interested persons should contact Shellie Wylie, manager, at 864-489-6066, or go by the ARC office during regular office hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m.
