Library hosts Aug. 21 concert by 'Menage'
The Cherokee County Public Library will host a concert by the critically acclaimed group "Menage" on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 12:15-1 p.m.
Luscious and original, Menage hails from Asheville, N.C., and delivers a contagious mix of soul, swing, pop, country and blues. Currently Hunt's is using the group's song, "Tomatoes," for its national tomato commercial.
Menage has shared the stage with, Chris Issak, Spin Doctors and Stella Parton, to name a few. To describe their music think, Patsy Cline country, Nina Simone soul and Pretenders rock.
Menage will next perform in Los Angeles, so Kenny Covington, PR/Adult Programmer at the library, urges the public to come give a big Southern welcome to this incredible group.
