Evelyn Sue Clary Moore, 79, of 1380 Ellis Ferry Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Carl C. Moore and daughter of the late P.L. Clary Sr. and Alta Ruppe Clary. She was formerly a manager of Six Dollar Stores and was a homemaker. Mrs. Moore was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Barry Moore and wife, Tammy, of Inman; a daughter, Sandra Lancaster and husband, John, of Roebuck; three brothers, Jack Clary and wife, Mary, of Boiling Springs, Ray E. Clary and wife, Frances, and Guy Clary and wife, Marrsue, all of Gaffney; two sisters, Edith Whelchel and Doris Spencer, both of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Niki Millwood, Josh Moore and Crystal Correll; and 10 great-grandchildren The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 12:30-2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Jackson and Dr. M.B. Morrow Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Gaffney Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 2308 Cherokee Ave., Gaffney, S.C. 29340. The family is at the home.
