GOAL POST MAKER

Floyd Leonard "Honeybee" Parker helped make the last goal posts used by the Gaffney High football team at W.K. Brumbach Stadium. Parker was a pipe welder and metal fabricator with his own shop Busy Bee Welding. He installed the goal posts in 1972 with the help of then-Gaffney High Principal Wayne Whiteside.
