Brenda DeLois Montgomery, 62, of Brookhaven Apartments 3-A, passed Thursday, Aug. 2l, at her residence.

Daughter of the late Crawley Montgomery and the late Minnie Mae Dawkins Montgomery, she was born on Sept. 29, 1945, in Norfolk, Va. She was a retired employee of the Cherokee County Disability Special Need Board.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Leroy Montgo-mery, Sr. (Tabitha) of Gaffney and Michael Anthony Montgomery of Greenville; two brothers, Forest Lee Montgomery (Elizabeth) of Long Island, N.Y., and Larry Alfred Montgomery (Diane) of Gaffney; five grandchildren, Capri P. Montgomery of Morrisville, N.C, Trey T. Montgomery, Timothy L. Montgomery Jr. and Dorian M. Montgomery, all of Gaffney, and Chance I. Montgomery of Greenville; three aunts, Lois Jackson, Margaret Montgomery and Lenora Camp of Hickory, N.C.; two uncles, Fred Dawkins of Washington, D.C., and Doc Dawkins (Beatrice) of Concord, N.C; three nephews, Sean Montgomery and Trevor Montgomery, both of New York, and Larry A. Montgomery Jr. of Gaffney; a niece Karen Montgomery of Roanoke, Calif.; and a host of other relatives.

Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Dr. A. L. Brackett, the Rev. Lionel Dawkins and Minister Annie Littlejohn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m..

Pallbearers will be T.C. Curry, Darrel Douglas, Charles Dawkins, Johnny Jefferies, Kelvin L. Crate and Deacon Joe N. Barnes. Flower bearers will be Bernadette Jefferies, Sylvia Davis, Tia Wood, Linda Belk, Sandra Dewalt, Emma Grant and Lori Davis.

The family is at the home Timothy Montgomery, 403 Browning Road, Gaffney.
