Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Ernest Hall and Edward Cole and the daughter of the late Ed Jones and Ethel Willard Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.

      Brenda DeLois Montgomery, 62, of Brookhaven Apartments 3-A, passed Thursday, Aug. 2l, at her residence. Daughter of the late Crawley Montgomery and the late Minnie Mae Dawkins Montgomery, she was born on Sept. 29, 1945, in Norfolk, Va. She was a retired employee of the Cherokee County Disability Special Need Board.

Dover and daughter of the late Claude (Boss) Patterson and Margaret Bright Patterson. Mrs. Dover was retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith.

      BLACKSBURG -- Kenneth Jerome Walker, 46, of 101 S. York St., passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Blacksburg, Mr. Walker was the son of the late F.W. Walker and Van Helms Walker of Blacksburg. He worked in construction as a roofer.
