Carowinds announces new operating hours

CHARLOTTE - Carowinds is now open on Saturdays and Sundays only through Oct. 26. The park also will be open on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1., and closed on Sept. 27.

Families can still take advantage of great fall events at the park, including Christian Music Day featuring Casting Crowns and Family Force 5 on Saturday, Oct. 4, and the family Halloween event Howl O' Fest every Saturday and Sunday Oct. 4 - 26.

Scarowinds' Halloween Haunt, the Carolinas' premiere Halloween event, will be open every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight Sept. 26- Oct. 25, plus Oct. 19, 26, 30 and 31.
