James Lewis Friday, 73, of 400 Railroad Ave., died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia.

Mr. Friday was born in Rock Hill, the son of the late Clarence and Fannie Bruce

Friday. He was

affiliated with the

Salvation Army and served in the United States Marine Corps.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Youngblood Friday; two children, Derrell Friday and his wife, Kellie, and Michelle Friday; and seven grandchildren.

Private services were held. Interment was in MF Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.
