Rivals set to battle in alumni hoops game Former Blacksburg and Gaffney High basketball standouts will come together this Saturday to raise funds for the Kelvin Young Scholarship Foundation. Alumni from the Blacksburg and Gaffney women's basketball teams will play at 5 p.m. in the Blacksburg High gymnasium. The men's basketball teams will play at 6 p.m. Tickets will be $5. Ben Touchberry, Alex Bailey, Daniel Wilson and Mike Green are among the alumni that will play for the Blacksburg men's team. Gaffney basketball players on the roster include Troy Phillips, Steve Sarratt, Carlos Coleman and Blake Foster.
