Peach Festival officials extend heartfelt thanks

The South Carolina Peach Festival Board of Governors would like to extend its thanks and appreciation for the success of the 2008 Peach Festival.

This year was a year of change, from celebrating in June to new events, from variations of the old to bringing back another, to improving and expanding others.

The support received from everyone equaled our desire to provide a festival for all to enjoy and remember.

You came from around Cherokee County, from around the state of South Carolina and from around the country.

Our heartfelt thank-you to our valuable sponsors, to our volunteers and to our community and beyond for the success of the 2008 Peach Festival.
