Holleitha Makupson, 47, of 20-A Berkley Apartments, 201 Chandler Drive, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at her residence.

Daughter of the late Holl

and Makupson and the late Elease Smith Makupson, she was born on April 5,

1961, in

Cherokee County. She attended Mikes Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Calvin Makupson of Gastonia, N.C., and Holland Terrell Makupson of the home; a daughter, Tina Makupson of Gaffney; two sisters, Patricia Cortes and Selena Haney, both of Gaffney; 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Services will be held Sunday, Sept. 7, at 3 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Macomson officiating. Burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery.

The family is at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Miguel Cortes, 1013 Cherokee Ave.
