BLACKSBURG - Michael William Dover, 45, of 906 Blacksburg Hwy., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in York, he was the husband of Patricia Dover and son of Shirley Dover of Blacksburg and the late James William Dover. He was a textile employee and member of Kings Creek Church of God.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are four brothers, Mikey Dover of Clover, James Dover, Caleb Dover and Alan Wall, all of Blacksburg; three daughters, Lisa Dover, Kimberly Dover, both of Blacksburg, and Christie Dover of Clover; three brothers, Ronnie Dover of Gaffney, Jerry (Frankie) Dover and Dean Dover, both of Blacksburg; three sisters, Vickie Jones, Jane Turner, both of Blacksburg, and Donna Lynn Shirlie of Clover; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9, 11 a.m. at Kings Creek Church of God, conducted by the Rev. Rayce Wolgemuth. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roger Turner, Jackie Anthony, Kenny Hulsey, Anthony Rucco, Christopher Pentz and Alan Wall.

The family is at the home of Vickie Jones, 333 Mullinax Circle, Blacksburg, where the family will receive friends Monday, Sept. 8, from 2-9 p.m.
