Wildcats focused on future after narrow defeat Friday

      Blacksburg football players will have little time to think about how close they came to beating Indian Land on Thursday evening. Blacksburg will go on the road this week to face Class 2A rival Chesnee. Chesnee is coming off an impressive 40-0 win over Landrum.

GHS defense continues to shut down foes

      Tropical Storm Hanna wasn't a factor in Thursday's game against Greenville, but the Gaffney defense continues to pack a powerful punch of its own. For the second straight game, the Indians held their opponent under 300 total yards. The Red Raiders rushed for only 87 yards on 34 carries.
