Couple wed Aug. 23 in York

MR. AND MRS. BRYAN W. HUDSON MR. AND MRS. BRYAN W. HUDSON Pauline Harrilll Motts of Gaffney and Bryan Wood Hudson of York exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Living by Faith Baptist Church in York. Rick Sturgis officiated the double ring ceremony at 6 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Agnes Harrill of Gaffney. A graduate of Gaffney High School, she is employed by Ply-Gem in Gaffney.

The groom is the son of Helen Hudson of York. He graduated from York High School and is employed by the Rock Hill School District.

Mr. and Mrs. Hudson are making their home in Blacksburg after a wedding trip to Charleston.

Music was provided by Chris Lynch, pianist and vocalist. His selections included "Bless the Broken Road," "I Cross My Heart" and "She's Got A Way," which the groom dedicated to his bride.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her daughters, Lauren Motts and Brooke Motts, as maid of honor and bridesmaid, respectively.

Courtney Watson of Gaffney, greatniece, was the flower girl and Tyler Bryant of Gaffney, great-nephew, was the ring bearer.

Phil Blanchard of Indian Land attended the groom as best man while the bride's son, Brian Motts, served as groomsman.

Following the ceremony, the women of the church were hostesses for a reception.
