Need to improve your job-seeking skills? These classes will show you how The Cherokee County Public Library, in partnership with the Cherokee County Adult Education Program, is offering a series of four classes during September for adults, 18 years of age and older, who are interested in improving their job-seeking skills. Each class will be held from 2-4 p.m. in the large conference room at the main library in Gaffney, and will focus on a specific area of employment readiness. The class schedule is as follows: Wednesday, Sept. 17: Resume Preparation Monday, Sept. 22: Preparing for an Interview Wednesday, Sept. 24: How to Complete a Job Application Monday, Sept. 29: Work- Keys Skill Assessments. Class size is limited and advance registration is required; those who register are expected to attend all four classes in the series. Rutledge Ave. These classes are part of Laptop Lab, a group of technology oriented CCPL programs funded by the South Carolina State Library under the Library Services and Technology Act, P.L. 108-81, as amended through the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
