 SCHOOL SUPPLIES — Newark recently donated a pallet of school supplies to Mary Bramlett Elementary School. The business conducted a school supply drive at the local distribution center and also held a football throwing contest to raise funds. Mary Bramlett received several hundred pounds of notebooks, notebook paper, pencils, book bags, erasers, scissors, crayons and other school necessities. "It was truly an honor to be able to help such a wonderful group as the staff and students at Mary Bramlett," a Newark spokesman said. Pictured at left is Newark employee Jeff Driskill as he loads up a truck to deliver the supplies. At right, are several school staff members with the donated supplies.  |
