Militia get their day at Mugrove Mills war site
      CLINTON - A Revolutionary War re-enactment unit will help present a program on the role of the backcountry militia at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Musgrove Mill State Historic Site. The program will provide a look at the major role that loosely organized militia played in slowing the British advance on the South Carolina frontier during the Revolutionary War.
