Classes help improve job-seeking skills

The Cherokee County Public Library, in partnership with the Cherokee County Adult Education Program, is offering a series of four classes this month for adults, 18 years of age and older, who are interested in improving their job-seeking skills. Each class will be from 2-4 p.m. in at the main library in Gaffney, and will focus on a specific area of employment readiness.

The class schedule is: Sept. 17, resume preparation; Sept. 22, preparing for an interview; Sept. 24, how to complete a job application; and Sept. 29, Work- Keys skill assessments.
