Limestone inducts 12 into Society

Ian Barker, Emily Carter, Kayce Peterson and Holly Weiss, all of Gaffney, were among 12 Limestone College students inducted into the Alpha Chi National Scholarship Honor Society during the college's Presidential Convocation on Thursday, Aug. 28, in Fullerton Auditorium.

The students became the newest members of the coeducational society whose purpose is to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college students and to honor those who achieve such distinction.

Alpha Chi admits to membership students from all academic disciplines who rank in the top ten-percent of the school's junior and senior classes. Membership in Alpha Chi recognizes previous accomplishments and provides opportunity for continued growth and service.
