'How to Eat Like a Child' continues for three more shows
     How to Eat Like a Child, a look at relationships between teenagers and their parents, begins a second-week run Thursday at the Gaffney Little Theatre on East Robinson Street. Shown in the top photo in "How to Say No" are Zach White, Kasey Jackson (foreground), Ali Henderson, Leala Grindstaff, Breanna Conwell, Sydney Ford, Kennedy Batchler, Kimberley Guthrie (second row), Hannah Welch, Donovan Davis, Heidi Walker, Aidan Baxter Ferguson, Amanda Mullinax, Allison Conwell, Madeline Clough and Grace Wylie (back row). Spencers married 50 years
      Sam and Annie Spencer of Gaffney celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11, 2008. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer were married in 1958 at the Cherokee County Court House. They are the parents of Bobby and Lori Spencer and have four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

      The American Red Cross is sponsoring a Home Disaster Preparedness Kit class for senior citizens. The classes will show seniors what should be inside their disaster kits at home. Possessing a well-stocked disaster kit can make the difference between life and death if the unthinkable happens.
