Carroll "Bud" Mahaffee

COWPENS - Carroll Reid "Bud" Mahaffee, 53 of 140 Edgewood Drive, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born Jan. 17, 1955, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Mary Ann Willis Mahaffee of Cowpens and the late Cliatt Reid Mahaffee. He was first employed by Hamrick's Inc. and then with International Wire. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna Hayes Mahaffee; a daughter, Shannon Rae Mahaffee of Gaffney; a sister, Debbie Genobles of Spartanburg; a brother, Steve Mahaffee of Cowpens; five nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 7-9 p.m. at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Travis Blackwell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
