Raymond Graham, 86, of 207 Hill St. died Monday, Sept. 17, 2008, at his home.

Husband of Poniece Rogers Graham, he was born in Cherokee County, a son of the late Joe and Merdish Brown Graham. He was a member of Limestone Missionary Baptist Church, an Army veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Southern Railway.

Also surviving are a daughter, Myrtle Louise Reeves (Dwight) of Washington, D.C.; a stepson, Robert Byrd of the home; a stepdaughter, Shanta Byrd of Spartanburg; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Golden officiating. Body will be in placed in the church at 1 p.m. Interment will be on Monday, Sept. 22, at noon in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery, Anderson.
