Shaquille Davidson rushed for three touchdowns and was on the recieving end of another to help the Gaffney Middle School Chiefs to a 50-14 victory over McCracken on Wednesday.

O'Bryant Davidson had an interception, a touchdown reception and returned a kickoff for a TD for the Chiefs, who improve to 2-0.

Joseph Goode added another touchdown, while quarterback Bryce Spurlin threw for two scores for Gaffney Middle.

"The defense played an excellent game and the offensive line stepped up," Gaffney coach Brad Phillips said.

Jaylen Miller, Joey Gaines, Roderick Ogelsby and Cobby McDowell each scored touchdowns to lead Granard to a 58-6 victory over Whitlock on Wednesday.

The defense also played well, according to the Granard coaching staff.

The Ewing-Carver middle school football game was postponed on Wednesday due to a wet field.

The game has been rescheduled for Oct. 6.

The Gaffney High junior varsity team rolled to a 41-8 victory over T.L. Hanna on Thursday.

Joey Copeland threw a touchdown pass to Quinshad Davis, while Georgia Littlejohn had three rushing touchdowns for the Indians.

The Gaffney special teams also scored by blocking a punt and recovering the football in the end zone.

In men's soccer action, No. 13 Limestone battled Anderson University for 110 minutes to earn a 1-1 draw against the Trojans.

Limestone stands at 1-0-1 in Conference Carolinas play (6-0-1 overall) as the Trojans stand at 1- 0-1 in the league (3-3-1 overall).
