Mrs. Loftis celebrates 93rd birthday

Minnie B. Loftis Minnie B. Loftis of Gaffney and the Goucher community celebrated her 93rd birthday with family members and friends.

Mrs. Loftis is the daughter of the late Hosea and Macy Padgett Bright.

Mrs. Loftis has five living generations, some who live as far away as Sitka, Alaska, Gainesville, Fla., New Port Richey, Fla., and Jacksonville, Fla., but only three generations were able to attend her birthday celebration. Among those present were her only daughter, Miriam L. Motts; her grandson, MB Motts Jr.; and her great-grandson, Andrew Motts.
