Red Cross offers classes

The American Red Cross, Cherokee County Service Center, will be conducting three certification courses in October.

Adult CPR and Standard First Aid will be taught Monday, Oct. 6, from 6-10 p.m. Infant and Child CPR classes will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 6-10 p.m. A babysitter's training session will be held Monday, Oct. 13, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and those attending should bring a bag lunch.

One hundred percent of the course fees go to support disaster services in Cherokee County.

All classes will be at the ARC Service Center at 405 N. Logan St. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. To register, call 489-6066 or visit the ARC office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
